COSMETIC SURGERY PROCEDURES
BROW LIFT / FOREHEAD LIFT
BEFORE & AFTER PHOTOS

The terms brow lift and forehead lift usually refer to the same procedure. A brow lift can help you achieve a younger or less stressed look by smoothing expression lines or other signs of aging in the forehead and brow area.
A brow lift can:
| Smooth fine lines and creases across the forehead, on the bridge of the nose and between the eyes | |
| Reposition or raise the eyebrow line | |
| Lift a low or sagging brow that may be drooping onto the upper eyelid |
Brow lift surgery begins with one or more incisions behind the forehead hair line, or through a single incision in the natural crease of the upper eyelids. The surgeon will work through the incision to remove excess skin or tissue and to tighten muscles. If there is significant excess skin in the forehead area, a wider incision on the scalp may be recommended. After the surgery, the incisions are closed with sutures. Sometimes, to further enhance skin tone or surface appearance, laser resurfacing or a chemical peel is recommended.
Generally, swelling and bruising should subside within 2 weeks. Final results may be seen in 1-2 months. Over the period of approximately one year, the incision lines will continue to refine and fade. If the procedure is less invasive, the recovery time will usually be shorter.
